Delayna Robbins Exhibit
What We Carry, We Grow
In June our Vault Gallery will feature original paintings by Wilson, NC artist Delayna Robbins.
What We Carry, We Grow explores Black identity, resilience, and transformation through an Afro-surrealist lens. This exhibition reimagines moments within the Black community, honoring both generational trauma and the beauty of healing. Through layered storytelling and symbolism, it reflects on what we inherit, what we release, and how we cultivate something new. In embracing both vulnerability and strength, this series serves as a love letter to Black resilience and the power of transformation.
Through her use of bold colors, ethereal imagery, and surrealistic elements, Delayna invites viewers to consider their own experiences and perspectives, fostering empathy, understanding, and connection.
