obhcsTo celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Outer Banks History Center is partnering with the Dare County Arts Council to present a year-long art exhibit showcasing the area’s vast, varied and vibrant history. An Eye for Art, a Heart for History is open to all artists, and those with a creative flair. The exhibit will be held at the Outer Banks History Center, located in Roanoke Island Festival Park.

This juried show will showcase the many aspects of the heritage and history of the Outer Banks and surrounding regions through a variety of mediums, including paintings, photographs, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, fiber arts and other works that represent some aspect of the region’s past.

Opening Reception February 28, 2014, 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Exhibit will be available throughout 2014.
